Controversy continues to swirl around the controversial shooting of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, FL back on Februry 26, 2012 as new pictures and “facts” come to light.

Was Trayvon suspended from school 3 times? Was he caught with burglery tools and a bag of stolen jewelry? Did the initial photos released of Trayvon purposfully show a younger, more “innocent” looking boy? Was he selling drugs? Did he recently “swing on” a bus driver? What about the New Orleans police officer’s comment on a web site, “Act like a Thug Die like one!”

Is all this an attempt to “kill his (Trayvon’s) reputation” as Travyon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, contends?

Apparently Zimmerman’s account stating the Trayvon initiated the violence by unexpectedly punching Zimmerman in the face, knocking him to the ground and began slamming his head into the sidewalk was confirmed to police by witnesses. As was Zimmerman’s contention that he was the one screaming for help.

Some accounts, possibly attributed to one of Trayvon’s parents, have stated that Trayvon was suspended for 5 days for being tardy too often has been disputed and a new report says the boy was suspended for 10 days after being caught with an empty marijuana baggie at the school which has an zero tolerance policy.

There is speculation that the “hoodie” picture that made headlines was actually photoshopped to make Travyon appear younger and “angelic”. The picture above is supposedly the original photo published by the Miami Herald. (I have no idea and it is equally likely that this photo was the one photoshopped to make Trayvon appear older and more sinister as I wasn’t able to confirm this.)

The mystery of the Trayvon “threatening looking hoodie” picture is solved. The person posting that version neglected to mention it was taken from a poster used in a NYC demonstration. So it had been blown up multiple times and the brightness contrast messed with to a large extent. It was not the original photo as some would have you believe.

Other photos have surfaced which preport to show Trayvon in a different light but I’m not going to publish them until I get confirmation the young man in the pictures is actually Trayvon.

Alledgely 68-year-old John Carnduff Stewart sent the profane and threatening email Thursday morning canning the Sanford Police Department “bigoted” and “unprofessional.”

He further stated, “I have more weapons than your entire police department and I would love to use some of them to take you down.”
