Today, August 9, 2012, prosecutors in the case against George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin shooting case mistakenly released some evidence that should have been kept confidential, including a photograph of Trayvon Martin’s dead body and some of Zimmerman’s school records.
The photo was apparently taken by a witness with a cell phone and is of very poor quality.
The school records are protected under state law and apparently shouldn’t have been released at all but there is not much there other than notations about Zimmerman being on probation for low grades and, after the shooting, notes regarding the school terminating his student loans and withdrawing him from his classes.
